Bitone - meaning "talents", was founded in 2004 by Mr. Lawrence Branco Sekalegga with a mission:

To restore the hopes and quality of life of disadvantaged Ugandan children who are traumatized by the death of their parent(s), loss of home, war, diease, or economic hardship.

Bitone's philosophy that every child, regardless of their cultural background, color, gender or race has the potential and deserves the chance to excel and shine, is born through its vision to:

Provide basic food and shelter, a nurturing environment, an academic education combined with a unique and strong performance program of traditional Ugandan dance, music, and theater. In this way our children's lives can again become meaningful and joyful.

Currently, managed by professional artists and musicians, the orphanage supports 25 children, providing them with food, clothes, an opportunity to go to school and be part of a very musical family.
