TC Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation has up to 10 grants for $1,000 available to local nonprofits and schools.
The Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation is now accepting grant requests for its mini-grant program. Applications will be accepted through September 30. The goal of the mini grant program is to help nonprofit organizations meet specified community needs.
 
Grants in the amount of $100 to $1,000 will be awarded to Grand Traverse, Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska and Leelanau county organizations in support of worthy community-focused projects. Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit designated by the Internal Revenue Service or a school system. Units of government or private foundations are not eligible for funding.
 
Grant priorities, as established by the Sunrise Foundation, are arts/culture, basic human needs, environment, health and safety, recreation, education, and youth. Grant funding may be used for equipment/supplies, participation fees, program expenses, and special opportunities/projects.
