Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation has up to 10 grants for $1,000 available to local nonprofits and schools.
The Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation is now accepting grant requests for its mini-grant program. Applications will be accepted through February 15, 2024. The goal of the mini grant program is to help nonprofit organizations meet specified community needs.
 
Up to 10 grants in the amount of $100 to $1,000 each will be awarded to Grand Traverse, Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska and Leelanau county organizations in support of worthy community-focused projects. Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit designated by the Internal Revenue Service or a school system. Units of government or private foundations are not eligible for funding.
 
Grant priorities are arts/culture, basic human needs, environment, health and safety, recreation, education, and youth. Grant funding may be used for equipment/supplies, participation fees, program expenses, and special opportunities/projects.
