Who's watching out for us? During these troubled times, it's easy to feel like the partisan world of government and politics have run amok. Thankfully we have the GAO. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan agency that examines how taxpayer dollars are spent and provide Congress and federal agencies with objective, reliable information to help the government save money and work more efficiently.
