Our meetings are every Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Traverse City, 701 Westminster Road, Traverse City. Our Rotary Club ID# is 52195.

What do we do?

We focus on three signature service projects involving education:
  • Backpacks for Kids to ensure that every local student has a backpack full of supplies each school year,
  • Born to Read to encourage literacy from birth with a book for every new baby born at Munson Medical Center and to spread the word about the importance of singing, talking and reading with children every day from birth on and
  • Education for Malawi where we build schools and provide bicycles for safe student transportation.
In addition, we provide volunteer community service for a variety of local projects including Salvation Army Bell-ringing, National Cherry Festival, and Michigan Adopt-A-Highway.  We also sponsor exchange students coming from other countries and coordinate sending our local students out.
