District 6290 annual “BURLAP N LACE” Gala.  This event promotes how our District’s clubs’ good projects become great projects with matching grant monies for both local and global projects through District 6290 Rotary Foundation.
Here is where we need your help before the event
1.       Register to attend this year, by going to the District 6290 website, and following the link for the Burlap N Lace event.
2.       Looking to spend the night with us in Traverse City at the Park Place, make your reservation directly to the Park Place Hotel.  Reservations made by Friday, 10-11-19, can be included at our blocked room rate of $109.95.  After the 11th, the room rate will be based on regular rack rate pricing.
3.       Please provide a gift basket from your club that promotes your community as part of a “Chance” auction.  If you need arrangements in getting you basket to the event, let me know and I will be make arrangements for that to happen.
4.       Donate a bottle of wine  for the annual favorite “WINE CAVE” auction.
5.       We are asking each club to sponsor our AFTERGLOW reception in the Paul Harris Suite at the Park Place Hotel.  This event follows the Gala, in a relax atmosphere where Rotarians and their guests will gather for a final cap off to the evening. For a minimum sponsorship of $25.00 your club will receive recognition, as such. Please mail your check payable to District 6290 to me for receipt by November 1, 2019, 8477 Mohawk Court, Montague, MI 49437.
