Sarah Kime, Glen Arbor Art Center - Mini Grant Recipient

Sara shared the mission and highlights of the Glen Arbor Art Center's 36-year history, new facilities and 9 year-round programs. The Center serves 500 children students and 300 adult students through classes a year. A few of their programs that the center is known for distinctly is the artist in residence program, complementary companion programs to current art shows, and their nationally recognized Plein Air Weekend. You may have seen art created through their programs in the Sleeping Bear Dunes annual park pass or Manitou Music Festival. Thanks to our club’s support, those in their community who typically cannot afford to participate, get that opportunity.
