Happy Dollars
Tom is glad he didn't get caught without pin or badge. He is also happy that families are fighting back on narcotics. Meeting at Central Methodist Church this Thursday at 5:15pm to focus on a solution
Nancy - happy to be home fro district conference, and she's happy that she jumped out of an airplane
Lindsey - told us Emerson took some of last week's happy dollars and bought ice cream for herself and her mom. Also her brother and new wife are having rehearsal dinner at her house on Friday.
George - said thanks to all those who helped at Free Fishing Day. He cleaned 280 fish and would like more help next year.
Laura - helped a small boy catch his first fish at Free Fishing Day and was told "catching a fish takes lots of patience."
Randy - he is concerned that Tom sat between the President and President Elect. What's up with that?
Kathleen- happy that her grandchildren live near to her.
Dave - took his first swim in the bay - It's Officially Summer!
Susan - celebrated her 39th wedding anniversary at a concert and a Tiger's game in Detroit
Kathy - son Corbin, who is 11 celebrated his graduation from Central Grade School
Eric - daughter turned 16 and went to State in Track and Field 4x800 and placed 8th place. Her team broke the school record
Lew - It's his BIRTHDAY!
Nick - participated in a Boy Scout Radiothon on WTCM and the noon Rotary Club visited the camp and sang in the dining hall. Very emotional moment for Nick
Mike - Sara graduated and Olivia is very sick of the Sara Show ran a marathon and won her age division.
Tom - enjoyed listening to Jeff sing this morning

Rotary Minute
Kathleen talked about Malawi and how 50 kids are at the new school this year. She also told us Ben Berger is mentoring with the new school. Watch for the 2019 trip May 19th-June 1st. The cost is about $4000 but there are lots of fundraisers to help.
Program
Val and daughter Madison decided to take a 3 month trip to:
India - where they spent 30 hours
Nepal - 4 days of trekking
Singapore - a progressive city that recycles everything
Thailand - bathed the elephants in mud
Vietnam - scootered around the city eating everything and had new clothes tailored for them
Cambodia - visited Hindu & Buddha temples
Hong Kong - felt like New York City
Fiji - fishing and spectacular sunsets
Australia - Manley Beach, Opera House, Kangaroos, Koalas and the Great Barrier Reef
New Zealand - Franz Joseph & Fox Glaciers and Glow Worm Caves
