Subject: speakers

I met today with Probate Court Judge Jennifer Whitten and her court administrator, Kristyn Brendel.   They are both willing to come to our club to talk about Juvenile court and the need for a local juvenile detention center.  They have presented to the noon club.

This topic seems to be in the news more lately and it seems that many people who aren't associated with the criminal justice system have a very negative outlook on what juvenile court does and why a detention center is helpful and necessary.

I have cc'd Krityn Brendel on this email so that you have her contact information.  Given all the discussions we have had about kids and mental health, this seemed like a good fit.

Thanks,
Noelle
