The Community Service Committee identifies opportunities and encourages club members to participate in all activities which make their community a better place to live. Examples of Sunrise Rotary Community Service Projects:

Adopt-A-Family/Adopt-A-Teen through Goodwill at the holidays	Volunteering in support of the National Cherry Festival
Bell Ringing for Salvation Army	Supporting local Food Drives
Providing Habitat for Humanity work crews	Supporting activites with the local Watershed Council, such as Kids-Free Fishing Day and local waterway cleanups
Youth-Friends mentoring through United Way of Northwest Michigan	Literacy Initiative Project
Earth Day clean-up of Boardman Lake and TART Trails	Goodwill Inn playground construction
