Sunrise Rotary Foundation Mini Grant Recipients
Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its fall Mini Grant awards:
The Traverse Bay Sunrise foundation awarded seven organizations with funds totaling $6,200. The organizations are: Arts for All Northern Michigan-Art Escapes, Blackbird Arts-Teen Studio: Voices and Visibility, El Grupo Norte Youth Cycling-Estrellas Balance Bikes, Grass River Natural Area-Citizen Science Volunteer Program, Great Lakes Children’s Museum-Underserved Support, GROW Benzie-Hive Minded Afterschool, and Mancelona Public School-Sound and Science. Additionally, $1,500 was pledged to the Benzie Sunrise Rotary Club as a matching grant request to support the Northwest Michigan Food Coalition.

Raffle - A person who facilitates the 50/50 Raffle by selling tickets and finding a member/guest to draw the winning ticket.
Invocation - A person who leads the group in a quiet moment of prayer or thought.
Happy Dollars - A person who walks around the room collecting money for people who are happy!
Rotary Minute - A one minute talk about Rotary at the local, district, national or international level. 
Inspiration - A one minute thought that will inspire us before we leave for the day.
