Each new member has a mentor who guides the program, which includes:

  • Attend a makeup meeting at another club accompanied by the mentor
  • Attend a board meeting to learn more about club operations
  • Serve twice as "Bulletin Buddy" (take meeting notes or sell 50/50 raffle tickets)
  • Attend a minimum of 80% of Traverse Bay Sunrise Rotary meetings (during first 90 days)
  • Give a 'Classification Talk'
  • Join a club committee
  • Complete your on-line profile in our member database (upload photo, complete contact info, birthdate etc)
  • Bring a guest to a club program, event or service project
Optional (can be used to replace one of the above activities):
  • Host an inbound youth exchange student for an activity of your choice
