BackPacks for Kids Committee will meet July 16 at 8am. Note the new meeting location: Integrity Home Health & Skilled Care (US-31/37 just south of Hammond Road).
At our July 1 meeting Randy thanked members again for their donations to 'Save Rural Nepal.' He will continue to keep us updated on the great work they are doing.
On July 29th our meeting will be a club assembly, offering our committees a chance to connect, set goals and get focused for the new Rotary year.
We had a report from our inbound/outbound/rebound exchange students re: the recent conference at Calvin College. All reported it was a simply fabulous time, offering everyone a chance to learn more about their new host countries, and offering our departing inbounds a chance to say their final goodbyes. Mati Gapinski (from Poland) and Zach Watson (U.S. outbound) performed a fabulous rendition of "Hit the Road Jack" which was performed at the conference as part of the student entertainment/talent (with their impromptu band).
