Ruth Blick joined us today to talk about the Salvation Army and all of the amazing things they do for our community beyond ringing the bells.
The Salvation Army is celebrating 150 years while the Traverse City office is celebrating their 121st year of service to our community.
After the August storm the Salvation Army came into action and served over 1,700 meals to community members. Through the generosity of hundreds of hours of volunteer time and our giving community they were able to quickly provide our neighbors with critical needs as well as support the disaster relief volunteers from across Michigan.
